In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's often the small details that make the biggest impact. 

That’s why we’re excited to share our latest project: replacing ice machines at Starbucks stores with state-of-the-art nugget ice makers. But just to be clear this change isn’t just about ice; it’s about enhancing customer experience and driving success in unexpected ways.

The Cool Shift to Nugget Ice

In the grand timeline of human history, there are transformative moments that shape generations. While upgrading ice machines might not seem like one of those moments, for Starbucks customers and employees, it’s a significant shift. Here's why:

    Traditional ice machines at Starbucks weren’t cutting it. Insufficient ice production was a common issue, affecting customer satisfaction and store operations. We stepped in to manage the entire project, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition to new, high-performance Follet units.

  2. Seamless Installation
    One of the biggest challenges in any upgrade is minimizing disruptions. Our team at Apex provided turnkey management, handling everything from planning and pre-installation to the actual installation and beyond. We replaced old ice machine units and condensers with new, efficient ones, all without causing any store shutdowns. This seamless approach meant that Starbucks could continue serving their customers without a hitch.

    The result? Starbucks employees are thrilled with the new machines, which now consistently produce enough ice to meet daily demands. This might seem like a small improvement, but it has a big impact on customer satisfaction.
